Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers are usually placed over the front teeth to allow changes to colour and shape of the teeth. Teeth that are too small, too big, or have funny looking craters or bulges in them, that ruin an otherwise great smile, can have veneers placed to fix the problem.

Key Benefits

[bullet] Only a small amount of tooth is touched by the dentist.
[bullet] We can choose any colour of porcelain to make dark teeth "white".
[bullet] There are very few problems at all with veneers, because they don't change colour and are very strong
[bullet] Glues that stick the veneers to the enamel are exceptionally strong and durable.
[bullet] These are similar to false fingernails, but are much, much stronger.

Applications

  Smile Changes
Many people have one or more teeth which have funny holes or defects in them, which ruin an otherwise attractive smile. Other people have one short tooth, or one too long, which again ruins a pleasing smile. Using our "Creative DentalTM" porcelain veneers, a perfect smile can be assured. We find that people from all walks of life can benefit from the improved confidence a better smile can give.

Broken Teeth

A lot of people of all ages damage teeth, either in home accidents, pool or sporting accidents, which can create a real problem with the front teeth. Using the advanced technology of our "Creative DentalTM" veneers, this damage can be repaired. A tooth repaired this way can, with very little trouble, be made to look like new again. Although veneers were only "discovered" about 15 years ago, we have found in our office, that our "Creative DentalTM" are a very reliable solution to dental problems and should last for many, many years.

The Young Years

During early childhood, developing teeth are very susceptible to damage from childhood viral diseases, fevers, chemical exposure and antibiotic use. Teeth affected by this may be misshapen, stained or brittle. Either one or all teeth may show some effects from any of these processes. In addition, damage to the baby teeth through accidents, may affect the second or permanent teeth which are developing underneath. Many of these injuries cause embarrassment, especially to children at school. In these formative years, some people develop a self conscious smile, afraid to show their teeth."Creative Dental™" veneers have for many such people given a boost to their confidence and self esteem. Our cosmetic dental services for developing personalities has proven to be one of our most rewarding endeavours. Exposure to excessive amounts of fluoride can also lead to unsightly stains and enamel weakening.
