Ceramic or Porcelain Inlays

Our office was the first in the Southern Hemisphere to purchase the technology for Celay^TM ceramic inlays. Inlays repair moderately damaged back teeth and are made of extremely tough industrial strength ceramics. Inlays are glued into place with specialised adhesives and hold damaged parts of the tooth together. In collaboration with Creative Dental Laboratories, we can manufacture extremely tight fitting and durable fillings or "inlays" for back teeth.

Capabilities

Celay^TM porcelain inlays are recognised as the toughest in the world, and the manufacturing process ensures the highest degree of accuracy in placing these fillings. Because the tooth is "activated" before placing these inlays, they bind onto the tooth and increase the "strength" of the filled tooth (most other fillings are weaker than unfilled teeth). We were the first in the Southern Hemisphere to employ this technique and provide extremely reliable results. These inlays are more costly, but the result over several years has reinforced our committment, and that of our patients, to them.
