| The photograph above
shows a young girl who has a smile ruined by a missing
tooth. This tooth was missing from birth and presented
this young girl with a major problem. It was decided to
place an implant in position and you can see the
"healing cap" in place, following the placement of the titanium implant. Alongside, you can see the smile line that resulted after the final correction. Implants are a tremendous development for people of all ages missing one or more teeth. Some additional cosmetic work was required to complete the transition. The tooth on the other side was increased in size, using a porcelain veneer, to compensate for a size irregularity. |
